When it comes to choosing the right digital marketing partner, we know you need to do your due diligence. That means doing the right research on a potential partner - making sure they are transparent, experienced, and qualified. To help, we selected the most common questions ever asked by anyone. Ever. Then, we threw those out and served up the following:

  • No relationship is perfect, but the last thing we want to do at Colossal is for either party to realize later - when we’re already deep into a working relationship - that our chemistry is way off. Or that the way we communicate and work just doesn’t jibe with how you do. So, we spend a little more time on the front end (before any letter of engagement is even signed) making sure this is going to be a successful partnership.

  • Years before the COVID-19 pandemic rocked the world and forced some major changes in how and where employees could work for an employer, Colossal was already tapping the best and brightest from around the US to service our clients – all in a remote, work-from-home environment. The world of digital marketing hasn’t needed the traditional office business model for some time now. The costly office suites with rooms for servers and printers, playful break areas with pool tables and air hockey, and oversized conference spaces with the latest audio/video equipment ready to dazzle clients during a creative presentation while they sit comfortably in the agency’s overpriced Herman Miller chairs. All major overhead costs that ultimately were passed on to clients in the form of inflated agency fees. Colossal has been a totally remote, work-from-anywhere agency since its inception. This allows us to attract and retain the right talent from just about anywhere to service the needs of our clients.

  • First, we’re not afraid to walk away from a big contract or retainer if it’s not the right fit for both parties. Our reputation is EVERYTHING to us. And a big part of keeping a good reputation is making sure we work with the right people and companies that are a fit for us and vice versa. If it becomes all about the money and trying desperately to hold onto it, then the relationship becomes inauthentic, the quality of work becomes compromised, and the results will likely erode.

    Second, when we say we seek to be in true partnership with our clients, we mean it. Yeah, we know we’re a vendor, but even a vendor can become a highly-valued contributor to the overall success of a brand. That’s our goal – and we work really hard to get there.

    Lastly, marketing is still some of the most fun you can have with your clothes on. While not every moment at Colossal is filled with chuckles and hilarity, we keep things pretty light. Big results for our clients - that’s something we take VERY seriously. The rest of it, not so much.
